Driving Passion and Performance

Every other year we meet as a network community at the Shepherd's Centers of America and National Volunteer Caregiving Joint Conference to share ideas and knowledge, learn from the experts, gain new perspectives and get reinvigorated to do our best work. Mark your calendars and plan to attend the 2018 National Conference at the Embassy Suites Indianapolis, Monday, October 8 - Wednesday, October 10.

This time with colleagues and friends in and out of our networks is an investment in your leadership and your community. We hope you will plan to join us!

Empowering Global Marketing

ERMCKS, Align J.E.T. and P.O.W.E.R.’s local and international influence is bringing hope, pride and trades to women around the world. Many of you know that I am a cofounder of Community Health Ministry a rural health care clinic that serves the uninsured and underinsured. In a study with Washburn University Nursing students, individuals who came to our clinics, were assessed for how social determinants regulated their health care. It was through this study that tools for employment, self-improvement, and jobs played a bigger factor in controlling an individual’s health care than medication, dieting and physician visits.

J.E.T. (Jobs, Education, and Training) works with P.O.W.E.R. (tools for women job readiness, including clothing, learning how to apply for jobs, and employee/employer matching). Internationally ERMCKS promotes business principals and provides an internet site for sales of homemade items, and IT classes to improve financial and family stability.

These organizations have helped the growth and development of many individuals, and will continue through relationships with organizations such as NVCN. I have appreciated the professional relationships over the last 16 years with NVCN. As a Registered nurse and business owner this relationship has allowed me to know great folks in business and to further my spiritual growth.

There are 37 IT classes beginning with how to turn on the computer and includes classes for cyber security. IT and information technology analysis are taught by a professor with 16 years experience. The online job training courses are taught by professional instructors. The courses are available online and can be assessed from anywhere in the world. There are grants and used computers available for in home and in group study. Please call or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
